Drew Fridge is a producer, musician, songwriter, and engineer from Chicago, IL.
Drew founded a band called Khameelion in 2012 while attending Columbia College as a freshman.
The band opened for acts such as Latoya Luckett, Raheem DeVaughn, Tweet, and others.
Shortly after leaving the band in 2014 to pursue a solo career, Drew released his debut single “#Onnat" and music video (directed and shot by brother, Alex Fridge) shortly after.
While self-managing, the music video quickly acquired YouTube views and Spotify streams by the tens of thousands.
Soon after, Drew signed to the production label ACMG, Inc. in May of 2015. Drew and the production team acquired production credits and songwriting collaborations with Grammy award winning artists like Usher, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Lecrae, Travis Scott and others while in joint venture with Sony Music Publishing. Upon signing flagship artist Elley Duhé in 2016, the label joined forces with Universal Music Publishing before eventually signing Elley to RCA Records. In 2018, Drew signed a songwriter deal to 21st Century Fox amidst composing music for the hit television series' Empire and STAR which he currently produces for alongside longtime songwriter friend Juiix of Wildchatter and Jeff Morrow of City Music Group.
Drew is also co-founder of A&D Media Group, Inc., a visual media production company with work for clients such as Toyota and McDonalds featured on ABC, NBC, ESPN, BET, Viceland and more. The company also serves as a popular retailer for media accessories and appliances and works side by side with the industry's leading suppliers from around the globe to curate a catalog of top quality gear. The company was founded in 2015 Drew and his brother, Alex.
Drew's heavy musical and entrepreneurial roots stem from his mother (Venus) and father (Dave). Growing up in the heart Chicago's south side, Drew took to music at an early age as his mother often traveled and performed as a locally renown gospel singer. She instilled in him an undeniable passion for music that was cultivated by playing drums and piano in church, singing in the choir, music lessons, competitions and the like. Drew's father, an entrepreneur, simultaneously secured a solid foundation by ensuring that Drew and Alex had a sufficient knowledge business as it would be a critical component in succeeding as creatives later on.
With faith being the driving force behind Drew's journey, his message is simple: prepare a generation of peers that are immersed in moral decay. As biblical prophecy continues to unfold before our very eyes, there yet continues to rise a remnant of young believers that recognize the gravity of our current reality. This is something Drew is eager to express in his coming solo artist work.
